Dietrich Sherry 2012-04-07	Napalai Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Appeared to be only one other room occupied when we arrived, so buffet breakfast not offered for first 3 days. Very limited fixed menu only. The lunch/dinner menu looked unappealing (actuaally aa pathetic attempt) with what appeared to be 3 varieties of canned soup offered amongst other things. Water presssure in room poor and imposssible to maintain a consistent water temperature. With a few exceptions, staff generally inattentive and inefficient. At times in the dining/bar area there were 5 staff members chatting and doing nothing. Oudoor furniture poorly maintained. Limited attractions info in foyer and poorly displayed. This may be because )when the hotel filled up it was apparent) that the guests were 95% Thai. Large construction project adjacent to hotel. The pool area on that side was unscreened. It wouldn t be too much trouble to plant a few trees...better in the long term too. WiFi not included and charged at a crazy 100 Baht for 30 minutes. Spa way overpriced for this level of hotel...didn t see one customer in there in 5 days. On the plus side: Large room which was cleaned very well. Large clean pool.Good location for Takiab Beach. I don t feel that the management of this hotel have much of a clue. With a little tweaking this could be a great place.
Rolf-Martin Bloom 2009-10-31	Napalai Resort & Spa, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Very nice hotel with good service. Most of the staff spoke very poor English. The internet is very slow, and functioned only sporadically. We had to pay 800 Bath when we stayed 6 hours extra, i.e. from check out time 12:00, even the fact the hotel had few gests at that time. I think it was a lot of fuss about that. The children were not allowed to swim in the pool after 7 PM?!	Very good, keep up this good work!

Line Jorgensen 2008-11-15	Napalai Resort & Spa, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. A bit far from the action. Although the action is a bit slowpaced, since most of the people you ll meet in Hua Hin are retired Scandinavian people. Had a deluxe room, and it was beautiful. Big and with a great balcony. Skizo plumbing means either scolding hot or freezing cold water out of the shower. We went for the freezing cold. Except from management the staff speak very little English. My girlfriend is half thai, and one of the first days when she arrived back from a spa day in the city (I was golfing, many great golf courses in the area), one of the reception girls wouldn t let her have the key to the room, which my girlfriend found very upsetting. I don t think the reception girl meant any offence, but it does pose a problem. It s a startour hotel, so expect to run into Danes, Swedes and Norwegian people.	Easy as alway.
Russ 2008-10-25	Napalai Resort & Spa, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Positives: Hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly. Nice pool. Room was nice and bathroom large and clean. Negatives: Buffet breakfast not up to the standard of the hotel, and bad selection of TV channels, but these are minor complaints! Overall, a nice place.	Very quick, no problems.

Ronad James Boyer 2008-09-27	Napalai Resort & Spa, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. My son and I really enjoyed our stay at Napalai. Our deluxe room with balcony overlooking the swimming pool area was very spacious and was definitely worth the extra money. I have been travelling for a few months now and I would say the staff at Napalai are amongst the friendliest I have encountered, although not much English spoken. Everything in the hotel was spotlessly clean and a pleasure to live there. Hotel is 5-10 minutes walk to either of two beaches or fishing village and taxi stand directly opposite hotel entrance. Also, there are some new shops and restaurants just across from hotel. Tip:- Minibus service (green taxis) into Hua Hin only costs 10 Baht per person and terminus is about 5 minutes walk from hotel (compared to up to 200 Baht for normal taxi).	Service as good as ever. I had to book an extra night here and had confirmation within a few hours.
WU CHIHYING 2008-07-03 until 2008-07-04	Napalai Resort & Spa, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Napalai resort, an elegant small resort, rooms are new, staff friendly, a little bit hard to find even though the staff talked to our thai driver. Nice stay.	good
