Kata Minta, Kata Beach This was my 3rd time or so to stay at the Kata Minta. As always, the rooms, food, and service were great. This hotel is a great value for the price and located very conveniently at the south end of Kata Beach. |
As always, Sawasdee was very efficient and polite. |

Kata Minta, Kata Beach Great value. Really friendly and helpful staff. The room was quiet and large - a nice retreat from busy Kata (which is busy - but nowhere near as busy as Patong). Bathroom nothing special but fine. Good location (easy to get to beach, no big walks or big hills). Some good restaurants nearby. |
fine |

Kata Minta, Kata Beach Rather good hotel with very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant in front was not so good situated, feeld like sitting and eating i the middle off traffic. |
As always good. |

Kata Minta, Kata Beach Great little hotel, fantastic staff. The rooms were great, we had two rooms on the top floor with balconies overlooking the street. We ate nearly every meal at the restaraunt and found the food to be of a very high quality, and reasonable price. About 5 minutes stroll to the beach. Hotel needs a bit of TLC but other than that i could not fault it. |
Very easy service, and extremely efficient. |

Kata Minta, Kata Beach My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by Kata Minta and its staff. The receptionists/waitresses, cooks and room maids were all very friendly and helpful, the room was very good value for money and the location very good within Kata. The sauna and plunge pool were a nice extra and the kow tom moo (rice soup with pork) for breakfast was excellent. The only negative comment I would make is that the bed was as hard as a rock. I know most Thai hotels are the same but in a hotel owned by a foreigner, one would hope there would be foreign style mattresses. |
The booking service was efficient. |

Kata Minta, Kata Beach We are very pleased with this hotel. Actually so pleased that we went back for five more days at the end of our visit in Thailand. |

Kata Minta, Kata Beach We ve been at Phuket 5 times now, and this was our first stay in Kata. We asked for ground-floor, but that was downstairs. Friendly and caring as the manegement at Kata Minta is they offered us a room on reception-floor, which was perfekt. Kata Minta was a very nice and clean hotel with al the needed facilities plus jacuzzi and sauna downstairs. The price was very, very good 1050 Bath for me and my wife and our 2,5 years child, incl ABF, inceadeble price for this kind of service and standard. One very nice example is that they had a loaded refridgerator with nice cold things to drink, wich is a life-saver after 16 hours of travelling, not all hotels have that. Finally if we return to Kata Beach, we will absolutely stay at Kata Minta- near beach, marts, pharmacy and other places to eat- although Katas food was good. |
Very good everything worked perfekt even pick-up. (Tried to deal directly with hotel last year, a mess with 7 or 8 mails before everything was in order.)

Kata Minta, Kata Beach After staying for just 5 days we booked out of the hotel as we could not stand the hotel any longer and booked into another hotel down the road which for just another 2500 Bart per night was far superior. The hotel as described on the webb site sounds nothing like the hotel in reality. The room we had on the ground floor smelt very musty and the views were of the backs of other hotels and thier areas for hanging out the washing. We changed the room after one night for a 1st floor room which was hardly any better. The room was quite large and clean although none of the windows fitted properly and this allowed insects into the room and a small lizard into the bathroom. The breakfast consisted of a chioce of orenge juice,a slice of toast, a few slices of pinaple, melon and tea or coffee. This was served on the outside tables which were rotten and falling apart. They were also running over with ants. The jucusi which is down in the basement and not outside as appears in the picture, is hardly inviting with damp walls and hardly any natural light. I would definately not reccommend this hotel as you can find far superior ones for not much more. |
The booking service was fine and I had a reminder to pay the final payment before going out on the holiday. |

Kata Minta, Kata Beach This is a small and nice hotel near Kata Beach. Personnel is very friendly and atmosphere very nice. As Finnish family, we were very positive surprised when we found scandinavian sauna from the basement. |
Everything worked fine |
