Sawasdee Village, Kata Beach we have just returned from an 8 night stay at the Sawasdee with friends, the rooms are quite small but adequate huge bed with mosquito net which is a must they are a problem but the staff are doing all they can to reduce them.Free bottles of water each day, The setting is quite beautiful with ferns and seats dotted around the reosrt. The breakfast area is lovely with a good range of cereals fruits, hot items and eggs cooked anyway you like.Coffe is good too. If you can afford it the Baray villas look amazing but not really necessary unless you plan to spend most of your time at the hotel.Staff were very nice and helpful, rooms cleaned every day, close to some good local restaraunts the Watermelon was very cheap with lovely authentic food.Kata beach in itself is on the quieter side not as touristy as Patong (not that we went there) but not too far away from a taxi ride. Would recommend to anyone. Do the Thai cooking class well worth it |

Sawasdee Village, Kata Beach The hotel was great, one of the best we have stayed at in Thailand in the last 5 years. The room is nicely decorated and has a TV with internet access. The bed is very large. The pool is also amazing. Breakfast has a lot of variety and tastes good. The only downside to the hotel are: 1) Location is about 10 minutes away from the beach which is not a downside for everyone. 2) They allow smoking so sometimes when people outside of the other rooms smoke it will carry into your room through the door or AC. 3) Pool will close at 7pm due to safety concerns. |
Staff did not contact us for transport to the hotel as requested. |

Sawasdee Village, Kata Beach The resort is very very nice but we were not very happy with the room. Room size is small, aircon is very old and lots of issues with electricity (black out in the middle of the night) |
Very good |

Sawasdee Village, Kata Beach A truly beautiful resort. Lavishly decorated in a traditional Thai style. Beautiful arts, objects, paintings fill every corner of this resort. Lush greens and vegetations make it a real oasis. The pool and the pool bar provides a very relaxing atmosphere. The Rooms are clean and well decorated. All fit with an oversized King Bed and beautiful mosquito net. All the necessary equipments and amenities are more than sufficiently provided. Buffet beakfast is served every morning with a huge selection of food. Friendly staff and good service overall. Location is good, the only downside is too far from the beach, but restaurants/bars, laundry, 7 eleven, massages are all available within minutes of walk. Don t forget to check out the Boray Villas and The Boray Spa for the ultimate luxury experience. |

Sawasdee Village, Kata Beach We just loved this place!!! The hotel is just like a dream come true:-) The stuf i SO friendly and nice!. Perfect location, not so near to the beach, but ther is a free shuttlebus from the hotel. We stayed 5 nights (two adoults and one child, 3 years).
