The staff are very friendly and helpful food quality is good and reasonably priced, however the wine is a bit overpriced. Beautiful beach and the sea is clean. Highly recommendable

The sea was so clear, our kids could enjoy swimming with many kind of fish. One short coming was the hotel restaurant was sooooo expensive regarding what you can get.

But be aware that you are in a luxury enclave - the rest of the island is drowning in garbage, overcrowded an in case of a short but heavy rain shower a huge mudhole. Even authorities have become aware of that problem! No need to hire a scooter for driving around - you will be disappointed!	perfect

The service from the staff, breakfast, rooms (especially the bathroom which smells),and housekeeping are not on a level what you can expect for what you pay. That really is a shame because the location is perfect.
Martinus Janssen 2009-11-13	Ao Prao Resort, Koh Samet, Ao Prao Beach The hotel is made of several little houses that have a wonderfull view on the sea, which is only 20 meters from your porch. The prices for food and drinks are above what you are used to in Thailand, but there are enough other places you can go to that are cheaper. Service is very good and flexible; by mistake we booked the wrong dates but when we arrived one week early they made no big deal of it and offered us the same accomodation.
Hans Porschen 2009-10-16	Ao Prao Resort, Koh Samet, Ao Prao Beach We changed instantly to La Vimarn Hotel because there is no mobile connection in the rooms of Ao Prao Resort. Beach is very nice and clean, also the sea. Restaurants are overpriced (everything on Ao Prao Beach is from same owner), no really chance to go out.	perfect
